The studio and the team
An architecture and interior design studio with its own shop, in the centre of Funchal, since 12 January 2011.
Traço Elementar designs and transforms houses, flats, offices, holiday rentals and hotel spaces in Madeira. The name describes the method: everything starts with a simple line (traço), which grows until it becomes a whole space.
The studio and the shop share the same space on Rua Princesa D. Amélia. This is where we design our projects, spread fabric samples across the table and welcome our clients. Visitors can sit on the sofas, touch the fabrics and see the colours in natural light.
We work for private clients and businesses with the same care: listen first, design next, and stay with you until the last piece.
