Interior design in Funchal

We design the interiors of houses, flats, offices and commercial spaces in Madeira. We start with a first meeting, measure the space, present floor plans and 3D images, and choose the materials, lighting and furniture with you, with our own shop in the centre of Funchal.

A design made to measure

Every home has its own light, views and routines. The design starts by listening to how you want to live in the space: who lives there, what you need to store, when you entertain, where you like to spend time.

From there we design the layout, the storage, the lighting and the feel of each room. Everything is decided on paper and in 3D before anything is bought or built.

Materials chosen by hand

At the studio, the samples open out across the table: fabrics, woods, stones, wallpaper. You see the colours in natural light and decide without rushing.

Because we have our own shop, the fabrics, sofas, lighting and decor for your project can be ordered through us, with one person looking after everything.

Do I need building work to have an interior design project?

No. A project can cover only furniture, lighting and decoration. If building work is needed, we also design and coordinate that part, through our turnkey renovation service.

What is the first meeting like?

It can be at the studio on Rua Princesa D. Amélia, online or at your home. We talk about the space, what you want to change, your timeline and the budget you have in mind. Book the day and time on the booking page.

Do you work outside Funchal?

Yes, we work across the island of Madeira. For other locations, please get in touch: the first meeting can be online.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the floor area, the number of rooms and what is included. We send a proposal once we have seen the space. Our guide on costs explains what affects the price.

You can furnish a home in Madeira without being on the island. The work is done by video call, with floor plans and 3D images to approve, samples sent by post and decisions made in stages. At the end, a trusted team receives the deliveries, oversees the assembly and hands over the home ready to live in.
